Men’s mental health therapy is not a separate type of therapy. It is counselling and psychotherapy that recognises some of the experiences, roles, expectations and barriers to support that can particularly affect men.
This might include relationships, work and financial pressure, fatherhood, identity, anger, anxiety, depression, loss, addiction, separation, responsibility, loneliness or difficulty asking for support.
The work is still centred on you as an individual, rather than assumptions about how men think, feel or should behave.
